Great trip, great mid-September weather. Our guides Andreas and Holly were the best, Andreas always had interesting stories about the areas we were in and Holly was always upbeat and added her own stories as well. The landscape was beautiful and for the most part, breathtaking. The food and accommodations were great. Loved the Refugio’s, they were 5 stars to my wife Vivian and I. The last day, for our via Ferrata we had Giovanni as our climbing guide and he as well added his excellent skills and storytelling to give us another great day to remember.

I have to start off mentioning that I was a little nervous, and anxious as the date got closer for my trip. I was questing myself regarding the physicality of the hiking, or do i have the right gear. But after meeting with Will, Keenen, and Sydney, I new I was in good hands. They were there for all the guest's every step of the way. No matter what situation arose they were at the ready. I really enjoyed my stay with the entire group, and got a lot out my trip. It wasn't just the shear beauty of the Alpine, but the education i received from Will, and his staff. They make sure you're well being, and overall enjoyment is priority. And not mention the food and lodging, which was very good and comfortable. I highly recommend this trip to anyone who enjoys the outdoors, a bit of a challenge, and a whole lot of fun!

Zack & Jamie complimented each other very well. Very energetic and we love their enthusiasm for Yellowstone. It is the only way to see a beautiful park like we did. Our third trip with Austin

The Hut to Hut hike is amazing. The scenery is some of the best I've ever seen! I was impressed with the guides. Will, Sydney, and Keenan were very knowledgeable regarding the structure of the mountains, the rocks and rock formations, and the foliage in the area. The watched us carefully to make sure we stayed hydrated and ate appropriately. They were fun to be around, and made the hike even more enjoyable.

This was a beyond amazing adventure. I was looking forward to hiking in Yellowstone, but had reservations about zip lining, whitewater rafting and horseback riding. I did them all despite them being outside my comfort zone!!
Staying at the historic Old Faithful Inn and having a room that looked out on Old Faithful was a fantastic beginning to the trip. The meals Zach and Jamie fixed while on the trip were delicious and their knowledge of the area added to the enjoyment. Our last night in Chico was sad because our adventure was over, but also a celebration of the time we’d had together and the memories we made

Our Yellowstone Adventure exceeded our expectations and ranks at the top of travel experiences. Our guides, Jamie and Zach, treated us like royalty and were very responsive to our needs. The meals they prepared and served were excellent. Having a room with a view of Old Faithful was so unexpected and very cool. The hikes were very manageable, even for seniors like us. Our guides provided lots of encouragement for activities that might have been out of our comfort zones.

I have to say we were not prepared for the wonders of the Canadian Rockies. Simply put, we were blown away by the landscape and our guides who were totally devoted to making our trip one we will always remember. They were knowledgeable, friendly, and open, making us feel like part of their family as they showed us their back yard. And what a back yard it is. Living in a city, the isolation in this vast wide open world of the Rockies was a welcome relief from the rush and crush of urban living. And the skies at night, unfettered by city lights, were out of this world. This trip ranks right up there with our trip to Everest Base Camp a few years ago. If you go, be prepared not only to be wowed, but also be fit. This is not a walk in the park. It will test you, but at the end of each day, you will feel like Hillary on top of the world.

Our Active Adventure Icelandic trip was enchanting; from tales about hidden folks dwelling amongst the farmers of yesteryear, to hardscrabble fisherman -- tales and history provided to us by our fantastic guide -- Solvi -- allowed us to really feel these stories as we stood on the rugged landscape. You then fully appreciate the powerful natural forces which have worked upon the land and its people. Loved our visit!

The Santiago trip couldn't have been better: it was tops. It combined moderate daily walking on the most scenic highlights of the Camino with daily cultural excursions resulting in a thorough Spanish experience. David, our leader, was a gem. He has a strong background in history, art history and natural history and facilitated a seamless trip with his fine organization. This was our first trip with Active Adventures and I was surprised by the comprehensive nature of the tour. We enjoyed daily guided walks in the towns we visited led by knowledgeable, local historians, visits to active archeological sites, and culinary treats of the regional specialties. We had a really comfortable group of 13. Efforts had been made to make sure everyone's dietary needs were covered. I never could not have planned such a superlative tour separately. This was everything in one.

I really enjoyed this trip - we were fortunately to have knowledgeable, experienced and relentlessly upbeat guides for our trip. While the weather didn't always go our way, the hiking was spectacular and such a rewarding experience. A great group, good accommodation in lovely small villages and towns and some delicious food made this a thoroughly memorable trip. Warning - the hiking is challenging and you do need to train to enjoy it! Highly recommend.

I’ve experienced an Active Adventures trip before which was amazing but this was next level! So well organised, amazing guide, fantastic accomodation and food everywhere, and a great group of like minded travellers that we shared it with. And Spain and the Camino - words just don’t describe how good it is . This really is a trip not to be missed!

This trip wasn't what I expected. Having undertaken the The Dolomites Adventure the previous year, I imagined I'd have the same experience overall on the Tour du Mont Blanc Adventure. In actuality, it was quite different. The hiking was far more challenging and sometimes an honest slog. The food had 'interesting' ups (supremely delicious) and downs (meh). Sleep required a thick blanket of white noise to cover 'distractions'.
But this isn't a negative review... quite the opposite.
I enjoyed the test to my mental and physical states. Undertaking difficult hikes successively, sometimes eating food I didn't think was very good and not getting enough rest due to circumstances beyond my control... it all reinforced my opinion of my adaptability and physical toughness. Good and bad together, I enjoyed every minute of it.
In closing, the guides have my total admiration. They were friendly, informative and helpful. I look forward to booking a trip to Annapurna Basecamp or Everest Basecamp in the near future.

It was an excellent trip. Our two guides, Sydney and Santana were fantastic. We had some rain on two of the days and they were flexible in finding alternatives to our plans so that we could still hike but not be out in the elements too much. The accommodations were fine. The lunches that were prepared were great. The hikes were stunning.
