This trip was excellent. I enjoyed everything about it. The food was excellent; the area is beautiful; the hotels and rifugios were top notch; but most importantly, our guides, Holly and Ivan, were welcoming, friendly and very knowledgeable about the area, especially Ivan. I learned so much about the Dolomite area. It was an enjoyable nine days of hiking, biking and even a little rock climbing. I would definitely recommend it to anyone.

Great trip led by 2 fantastic guides! Thank-you Justin and David for making this a very memorable trip! My one disappointment was not being able to complete the Harding Icefield hike because I was the only one wanting to reach the top and the guides having to return with the group.

- whale watching (the likes of which we and the captain had never seen before), rafting down a beautiful river with many eagle sightings, hiking through beautiful forests with amazing views, serene kayaking on a beautiful lake, a safe view of a grizzly mama bear with her three cubs, and an awe inspiring flight around Denali.
Two exceptional guides who "deliver the goods" for the group of travelers. Justin and David left little to chance in making sure that we enjoyed sights, challenged ourselves with hikes and other adventures, learning much about the region, wildlife, and history of Alaska and most of all - had a great experience. Their choice of restaurants and provisioners allowed us to interact with locals and appreciate what it was like to live in a region so different from our own. Our guides looked out for our safety and even had back up plans when a power outage threatened to close our dinner choice. They were creative in making sure that our experience resonated with each of us in our own ways with reflective and meditative perspectives.

We completely enjoyed our Ultimate Iceland Active Adventure trip. The itinerary is the right mix of sightseeing and unique activities. Iceland is an amazing place to visit. The landscape is overwhelmingly diverse, dramatic and beautiful. The history fascinating. The geothermal activity...otherworldly. This trip pulls it all together and you come away feeling you have seen much of the best parts of Iceland. The hike really emerges you into the vastness of the landscape. And then there are the puffins! The trip affords you two opportunities to experience the puffins, both in very special environments. Both unforgettable! Once again, we have come away from an Active Adventure trip with memories that will last a lifetime.

I had previously taken the "Rimu" (now "Ultimate South Island") trip in New Zealand and loved it, and this trip was equally good as an introduction to outdoor experiences in a country I had not visited before. I like the focus on hiking with some other activities for variety and for major experiences specific to Iceland. Having the hut-to-hut hike at the end is good to give the group time to cohere and the guides time to get to know us. (Though the weather was amazingly clear most of the trip, it got wet and cloudy for this last portion so we did not get to see the scenery on the middle two days.) Our local guide, Thora, was extremely knowledgeable and informative, more than any other guide I have had. I would like to come back for a hiking focused trip that leaves out the more crowded tourist attractions that I have now seen.

Our trip to Glacier was amazing, I loved having a mix of activities! Our guides Steve & Bob were above and beyond!
The restaurants we ate at and hotels that we stayed at were top notch!
We had a group of 12 who all seemed to get along great, were supportive of one another and inclusive!

The entire experience was wonderful. The three guides, Kevin, Elsja, and Jason did a fantastic job with our family of 17 people. We had one member who was autistic and they did a great job making him feel right at home. The food at each days picnic lunch was actually better than most of the restaurants. We would highly recommend Austin Adventures and especially these three guides.

We were a difficult group to manage with three generations of family and a wide variation of abilities. Our guides, Kevin, Elsja and Jayson were amazing at being flexible and meeting the needs of our varying abilities. They were able to show everyone all the “wow” aspects of Yellowstone, while also challenging those who were able to hike. My neurodivergent son was made to feel welcomed, challenged and absolutely loved the trip. My neurotypical daughter was able to see things she’d never seen and had a great time also. We all left the trip with memories we will cherish forever not only because of the time we were able to spend with our large tight-knit family, but also because of the positive adventure the guides gave us. Thank you Austin Adventures!

It was a wonderful experience - hiking, biking, and white water rafting in one of the most beautiful places in the US! The guides were exceptional - experienced, organized, sensitive to individual needs, fun, and friendly. They really made the trip five-star. The hotels and restaurants were great. This was the first organized trip I've experienced and it exceed every expectation. I'm signing up for another trip next year!

It was the greatest adventure I had in a long time. My guides(Jamie and Jackie)went beyond to make me feel very comfortable. They were very informative about Yellowstone origin. The places we saw had some breathtaking views. Loved the hikes we did, loved the hotels we stayed in. The food was out of this world. I'm looking into my next adventure through your company. I would rate my adventure 15 stars if you would let me.

So we learned about Austin Adventures in a very unique way. We won this trip, so needless to say we were very excited and honestly didnt know what to expect. We started our trip on Saturday and that is when we met our wonderful guides Jackie and Jamie. I cant say enough good things about them both. They were so awesome, and they made sure we all were comfortable and most importantly, that we all had fun. I would recommend Austin Adventures to anyone. Once you start the adventure you dont have to worry about anything. Jamie and Jackie made sure everything was taken care of. Its very nice to just go and enjoy things and not worry about all the details such as your hotel or dinner. We had such a great trip and I am so thankful we were able to go and experience Yellowstone like we did. This is the only way to do it!

Our family, my husband, my two college-age children and myself, will be talking about this trip for the rest of our lives. Everything was amazing! The accommodations and staff, the restaurants and food, the snorkeling and the equipment, the boat captains and first hands, the ANIMALS, the biking, the kayaking, and above everything else, our guide, Pepo, could not have been better. We learned so much about the geography, history, culture and wildlife. This trip was worth every penny. Thank you, thank you, thank you! I left a piece of my heart in the Galapagos Islands.

Pepo was fantastic, Galakiwi was wonderful and knowledgeable, we enjoyed every activity and the food was fantastic. Loved the snorkeling every day! Even our 16-year-old had a great time and didn't want to leave as we had a great mix of ages on the trip. The beaches and accommodations were beautiful and loved getting to know the people along the way. The trip ran really smoothly and seamlessly, a definite trip of a lifetime!
