This was our first trip with Austin Adventures and feel very confident saying it won't be our last! Not only were Bryson and Nataly incredible guides, but Austin Adventures strikes a perfect balance in taking care of the logistics and providing wide-ranging expertise, while allowing for flexibility and ensuring each guest is getting the most out of the trip. My two cents - if you are on the fence about booking, but excited about the trip's itinerary, and are able to fulfill their recommendations on preparing for the trip and understand the expectations - you will not be disappointed!

We took our two children on a family adventure to Yosemite and had the most amazing time. Five stars, highly recommend! We made great friends, had so many adventures and the accommodations and food were superb. Our guides Jayson and Kevin were the absolute best- we want to sign up for another trip!!

We took our two grandchildren on the Grand Canyon family trip and it was a wonderful way for us to bond with the kids and enjoy the company of the other families. The guides were great with kids and very knowledgeable about the geology, plants, and animals in the desert areas that we visited.

Just finished our Yellowstone/Big Sky/Paradise Valley tour with Austin Adventures and it was amazing!!! First I'd like to give a big shoutout to our talented and knowledgeable guides, Bryson & Natalie who truly made our trip! The days were scheduled with activities in a timely manner and even left some "downtime" at the end of each day. The information given by the guides was frequent and useful with attention on safety and fun with plenty of picture taking and laughter as well. The accommodations were very comfortable and the food was excellent for the most part, in particular, I'd like to recognize the restaurant @ Chico Hot Springs in Pray, MT as their food was some of the BEST I've ever eaten! It was noticeably farm to table fresh and had unique pallet offerings like lavender white chocolate scones...yum. Natalie truly went above and beyond customer expectations when while on a hike, she appeared with a tray of huge red ripe strawberries and chocolate caramels to give us some needed yet unexpected inspiration for the final leg of our hike. Bryson was a wealth of knowledge and had a vast set of skills he was able to share with us from his extensive experience over time and he and Natalie had a what appeared to be a seasoned rhythm together despite this being their first tour together. My only complaint was the food option offered at Canyon Village.....the school cafeteria vibe echoed the taste, variety and portion size of the food, it was horrific! I reluctantly ordered the Teriyaki Chicken (as the menu varieties were lacking) and I had to wait for them to cook another batch after which I could count on one hand the number of tiny chicken pieces in my dinner, quite the disappointment when you've worked up an appetite from the days' activities. I strongly urge Austin Adventures to seek out alternatives for that evening's stay as it lowers the high standards we all came to enjoy.

I really enjoyed the fact that everything was planned out for us and all we had to do was show up. No worries about finding the trails or not having signal. This was a huge plus for me!

This trip was more than we ever expected and worth every penny. Our guides, Kathy, Zach and Elsja became family to us. They paid close attention to detail, entertained us and our kids with jokes, riddles and history on our drives and made sure every need was taken care of. We made friends with the other fabulous families on our tour, which made it even more special and fun. We never knew there would be so much to see in Yellowstone, and going at it alone we would have missed so much!! It’s like you’re in a different world each day with the changing terrain of the park and our guides taught us so much! We never went hungry and our guides made quite the chefs as well. Our kids, 11 and 9, both said it was better than Disney and I agree!

We took the Grand Teton -Yellowstone Family Adventure June 25-30, 2023. It was beyond incredible. A friend had recommended Austin Adventures after taking his family on the same trip a couple of years ago. He was super excited about how great the guides were and how wonderful it was for his whole family. It was far beyond our expectations. We had Dereck, Moose and Nicole as our guides and they went far beyond our expectations on every phase of the trip. What a team they were in interacting with our grandkids ranging in age from six to seventeen. They prepared outstanding lunches out on the trails and they gave us so many facts about the history, geology, nature and what to expect. We could never have had such an experience on our own. It was worth every penny of the cost. The lodging was outstanding, the meals were superb, the hikes were fantastic, the biking was just right for our group, and the rafting was incredible. They would stop so we could see wildlife, and they explained things such as what fur was left on the trees the animals rubbed against. They had the bikes sized right, and even saw to it that our request for a tag along bike was met for the six year old. They acquired an extra large helmet for my head, when the large didn’t fit on day one. The guides felt like part of our family. Several in our party of 12 balked at the white water rafting, but we trusted the guides and everyone went. They all loved it!! It went too fast is all I can say and we will never forget that as our best ever family vacation.

This was our family's 3rd Austin Adventures National Park trip. I can't say enough good things about our amazing guides: Megan, Joel and Ryan. The other family's were great travel companions as well. This trip struck a great balance of activity, relaxation and incredible scenery. I knew the Jeep off roading excursion and Grand Canyon Railway would be highlights for my son, but there were also some nice surprises like Bearizona and visiting The Watchtower that will be great memories. Our hotel room in GC had beautiful canyon views out large window. The best nights sleep was in Sedona at The Best Western that included plush bed, private balcony with gorgeous views and a fun hotel pool/activity center.

As a solo traveler, going on an outdoor adventure with a group of total strangers; this trip far exceeded my expectations. Our guides, Bryson and Natalie, were phenomenal and felt like family from day one. They went above and beyond, every step of the way the entire week; and I cannot thank them enough for this experience. I’m so thankful that my colleague told me about Austin Adventures, I will definitely be doing another trip with y’all in the future!

When you combine a breathtaking location with extremely knowledgeable and personable guides, you have THE PERFECT TRIP. We had six family members, ranging in age from 6 to 69. EVERYONE had a fantastic time. The main contributing factors: Guide Kathy, Guide Zach, and Guide Elsja. These three were unbelievably knowledgeable, patient, and GREAT company. EVERY SINGLE ASPECT OF THIS TRIP was planned carefully. Our guides magically produced gourmet lunches in the middle of a wilderness, or on the side of the road, or in a parking lot. They made it look easy! They had everything we needed: insect repellant, sunscreen, WATER! They knew the history and background of all our stops. AND THEY WERE FUN!! I will forever be grateful to them.

This was a "Bucket List" trip that truly exceeded my expectations and I believe some of that was due to our great guides, Kiwi Gregory and Alta Badia local Ivan. Both were very informative of area sights, landmarks, history and culture and always helpful whenever needed. It was a great group of adventurers, and this was a very memorable experience. I will definitely look into joining another Active Adventure trip in the future.

If you are up for a great adventure with epic scenery and physically challenging activities, this is a great choice. Italy is a wonderful country with very friendly people. Hiking, rock climbing and bicycling are very popular here. Active Adventures must have spent alot of time and careful consideration planning the itinerary as it went very smoothly!

Exquisite mountain range full of majesty. When the clouds rose and we saw this spectacular mountain range, I lost my breath. To describe this trip I would need to use every positive adjective in my vocabulary. The Dolomites speak for themselves. My trip with Active Adventures through the Dolomites, was exceptional. Our guides, Gregory and Ivan were amazing. Their endless knowledge of Italy, its topography, geology, and history seemed endless. Each night Gregory would review what the next day would look like, allowing us to prepare accordingly. This gave us all comfort in our choices. And while we hiked, both guides moved within the group with such caring. Great guides. Great trip.

Our family had an awesome experience with Austin Adventures. Our guides were OUTSTANDING!! We can't say enough about them. David, Becky and Jackie brought amazing energy to the trip while looking out for everyone. They made the trip seamless with their attention to detail and ability to work together. They shared their knowledge, showed us incredible views that left us in awe and offered lots of side activities to bring the group together!
